You can take part in a short week-end Italian language course in the outskirts of Venice, on the Riviera del Brenta in my own house in the countryside. Enjoy your lessons in a quiet environment with a patient and experienced teacher.
I will teach you the basic of Italian or help you to improve your existing level, you live with a real Italian family (mine) and share your meals with us, you will experience the Italian way of life and speak Italian, away from the tourist trails and all for a short while.
A week-end course runs Friday till Monday (student guests must arrive on Friday morning and leave Monday morning). Lessons are held for 4 hours a day (Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning).
On the Saturday afternoon a 3 hour tour of Venice will take place.
Sunday afternoon is free.
The stay includes full board in our family in a double room with ensuite bathroom, 12 hours Italian language course, a 3 hour Tour of Venice.
It does not include flight, airport/train station pick up and drop off (this can be arranged for a fee of euro 15.00 each way), the cost of bus/vaporetto transport in Venice, any extra taken outside of the house.

I need a private teacher to take a group of 8 for the italian language course in italy. Please get back to me on how I can meet the tutor.
Hi – I can’t take advantage of the week with your family because I have already rented a studio apartment for the first week in September. However, I am traveling alone – leaving my husband and young adult sons home – just to experience it. Do you have any suggestions for meeting an English speaking or even an Italian – slowly speaking person or persons even just to meet for a lunch or a dinner? Or any other thoughts. I look forward to being on my own, but worry a little about feeling isolated. Any suggestions would be great – thanks very much. Bonnie
You could visit on Facebookour group Expats in Venice and post a message there, i am sure there will be someone you will be glad to meet up with you! Ciao Ciao
Sgnra. Cesarato,
I have been studying Italian with a tutor for over two years. In March I return to Venice for a five-week stay, primarily to continue research at the Correr and Fondazione Cini for a book about the annus mirabilis of Italian opera, 1641-42, but I would very much like to continue working on my spoken Italian during my stay. I will be staying in an apartment in Cannaregio near the Ca’ d’oro. Ideally I would meet with a tutor two or three days a week for an hour’s conversation and instruction; it would be wonderful to talk with a native Veneziano/a! Can you yourself help me, or recommend someone else?
Mille grazie,
Roger Downey

I could offer you lessons, but I am not in Venice itslef, I am in Oriago di Mira.
I can ask around and see if I can find a tutor.
ciao
Tante grazie, Signora.
