Free Entry to State Owned Museums in Venice

7th March: Women’s day Free entry in all State owned Museums in Venice
On 7th March 2010, the Italian Ministry of Beni e Attività Culturali has decided to celebrate International Women’s day by offering all women a free entry to all State owned Museums and Art Galleries in Italy.
On this occasion on 7th March the Antique Venetian Library of La Marciana (Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana) will offer three free guided tours of its Monumental Halls at 10.15, 12.00 e 14.00.
Meeting point five minutes before starting time at the ticket office of Museo Correr in Piazza San Marco. No need to book.
Always on Sunday 7th March, The Museum of Oriental Art (Museo dArte Orientale) will offer free entry to all women and also will display some short films about Japanese culture and Women.

Also if you want to move outside Venice, you can visit the Riviera del Brenta and the amazing Villa Pisani in Stra, the most beautiful display of Venetian power in the inlands.
