Meet Monica at Campo San Pantalon and head to one of the best gourmet wine bars in Venice for a wine tasting and food sampling experience of about 1 and half hours. Enjoy a plate of local Venetian specialties called cicchetti accompanied by three delicious local wines, at surprisingly competitive prices.
Indulge in the wonderful atmosphere in a charming traditional Venetian wine bar. This traditional Venetian “Enoteca” is excellent, frequented by many locals, above all gondoliers, and its wines are very popular. “Enoteca” in Italian, literally means “wine library”, but the word is commonly used for a place where wine is tasted, often accompanied by cicchetti, small snacks similar to Spanish tapas. The osteria offers a warm atmosphere and the friendly owners has received many positive comments from all International magazines and newspapers.
This is the perfect place for a lovely quick lunch or for an evening in Venice. Try the typical baccalà mantecato, beautiful cheeses, locally cured meats and three different wines from Veneto while learning about Venetian regional cuisine. Numbers are limited to eight on this small-group experience, ensuring youll enjoy personalized attention from your host.

You will have the opportunity to taste the following three wines:
Prosecco Valdobbiadene Extra Dry DOCG: (the most famous Venetian wine nowadays: refreshing, light and bubbly)
Soave Mito DOC : (a Venetian DOC white wine, sibling of neighbouring Bardolino.),
Merlot: (a typical red wine of the colli Euganei, the taste is soft and comfortable, outlined by blueberries and tobacco)
The wine tasting is served together with a selection of 6 cicchetti ( two meat, two fish and two cheese/vegetables). On request the cicchetti can be all meat, or all fish, or all vegetarian specify at time of booking.

B-Wine and Food of Venice Plus
You will have the opportunity to taste the following three wines:
Prosecco Valdobbiadene Brut DOCG : the famous Venetian bubbly wine, characterized by aromas of citrus and vegetal notes, combined with a beautiful and gustative energy.
Soave Mito DOC : from the province of Verona, with a characteristic intense and delicate bouquet, dry, medium-bodied, harmonious and slightly bitter
Valpolicella Ripasso Doc: a delicious red wine from the province of Verona, with a soft and harmonious taste marked by a distinct background of berries
The wine tasting is served together with a selection of 6 cicchetti ( two meat, two fish and two cheese/vegetables). On request the cicchetti can be all meat, or all fish, or all vegetarian specify at time of booking.

C-Wine and Food of Venice Deluxe
You will have the opportunity to taste the following three wines:
Franciacorta Brut DOCG (Bredasole): the famous sparkling wine with a fruity, fresh harmonious taste
Valpolicella Superiore: the famous wine of the province of Verona with a full-bodied, bitter, savory and harmonious taste
Amarone: the world famous inve produced in the prvince of Verona with a round and rich flavor, with aromas of ripe fruit and dried fruit, liquorice
The wine tasting is served together with a selection of 6 cicchetti ( two meat, two fish and two cheese/vegetables). On request the cicchetti can be all meat, or all fish, or all vegetarian specify at time of booking.

Booking and Payment
A deposit of Euro 40.00 per booking is required to reserve places (non-refundable in case of cancellation less than 48 hours prior to tour date). Deposit can be paid via Paypal. The remaining must be paid 2 week before the date of the wine tasting, via Paypal. Meeting instruction will be sent upon booking.

A friend and I did this tour in April, it was a fantastic evening. Wonderful food, wine and company. There was also, at the last stop, a prosecco and mint drink which I forget the name of (help pls Monica!)
